Coaching Awards

Jill Quek was awarded the Coach Recognition Award by the Singapore Sports Council in 2007.  She has been coaching floorball competitively for 8 years, with both international and local coaching experience. She also understudied and assisted Finland’s Youth Regional Girls’ Team in November 2007. Jill was the Assistant Coach of the Singapore Men’s Floorball Team in 2006.

Background of the Coach Recognition Award:
The annual Coach Recognition Awards (CRA), organised by the Singapore Sports Council, recognises coaches for their outstanding achievements, commitment and contribution towards the continued development and success of their athletes and sport within the past year.This prestigious award also takes into consideration the coaches’ efforts to adopt best coaching practices, such as displaying ethical coaching behaviour, the pursuit of continuous upgrading in coaching capabilities and the quality of their training programmes.
